Are you ready to explore Stratford-upon-Avon? I mean, really explore Stratford-upon-Avon?
Stratfordblog is the place to be for fresh news, in-depth views and personal reviews of the best of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Welcome to the first-time tourists, the long-time day-trippers, and the good folk who live locally. This blog is for you: the residents, the visitors, the families, the couples, and anyone who loves Stratford-upon-Avon.
I want you to make the most of your time here in the lovely Warwickshire town of Stratford-upon-Avon and perhaps discover something new, whether you’ve been here for 20 minutes or 20 years.
This isn’t a travel guide. This is an enjoyment guide.
Think of Stratfordblog as your trusted friend, whose personal recommendations never let you down. None of the content is paid-for. These are my thoughts and my experiences, and on that, you have my word.
So who am I?

I’m Jeanette: Stratford local, journalist, professional travel writer, mother, lover of tea. I’m either writing about travel for websites, national newspapers and magazines (Company website/@JeanetteParkin on Twitter), writing children’s books, writing lists (I do love a list) or writing Stratfordblog.
Born in Warwickshire, I have lived as near as Chester and Devon and as far as Spain and Australia, but it’s in Stratford-upon-Avon that my itchy feet finally settled. I am mother and stepmum to three adventurers, wife to one romantic. I take tea with milk, one sugar.
