Free party at Shakespeare’s New Place

There’s a free party at Shakespeare’s New Place this summer!

The amazing re-imagining of Shakespeare’s New Place in Stratford-upon-Avon is celebrating its second birthday and you’re invited to attend.

Free party at Shakespeare’s New Place

To celebrate the second anniversary of the opening of the redeveloped Shakespeare’s New Place, the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is inviting visitors to a party on  Sunday August 19 from midday until 4pm.

Locals with CV37 postcodes can join the party at no charge. In fact, if you haven’t got one already and you’re a CV37 resident, you are entitled to a free two-year pass for access to Shakespeare’s New Place. Simply show proof of address at one of the Shakespeare Family Homes ticket desks and claim your pass.

Emergency services workers and their families are also invited to the second birthday party of Shakespeare’s New Place for free.

If you don’t lively locally or work for the emergency services, the party is included in standard admission or with a Full Story ticket. There are plenty of reasons to buy a Shakespeare Family Homes Full Story ticket – entry to special events such as this is just one of them.

What’s on during the Shakespeare’s New Place party?

Visit Stratford-upon-Avon and attend the second birthday party at Shakespeare’s New Place for family fun, such as face painting, magic and live music.

There are also prizes up for grabs for the best-dressed famous pair from history (think Romeo and Juliet, Bonnie and Clyde, Sonny and Cher!).
