RSC: A Christmas Carol came to the stage this week. Also on this weekend is Timon of Athens. Plus tours and tower visits.

Stratford-upon-Avon Picturehouse: Screenings include Tulip Fever; The Old Man & The Gun; and Shoplifters. The Kids’ Club film (Saturday 11.15am; tickets £2) is Christopher Robin.
Everyman: Screenings include Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse; Ralph breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2; and Creed II.
